The members of the 3rd District, Sons of the American Legion, representing Albany, Schenectady, Greene, Schoharie, Rensselaer, Ulster, Sullivan and Columbia Counties, are asking for donations for the families living in our hurricane and flood stricken counties to make their holiday season a little easier. Many of these families are struggling to repair their homes, making the holidays a luxury they can’t afford.
Donations are being accepted through December 9, 2011. Checks can be made payable to: 3rd District Sons of the American Legion and mailed to: David Moak, 73 Udell Rd., Westerlo, NY 12193.
I am a 22 year member of the 3rd District, Sons of the American Legion and a 26 year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 291.
