Let’s salsa!
Our seed library is gearing up, and we’ve got something extra special for the new growing season. We’ve put together a select number of themed salsa grow kits for pick-up. Each kit will contain the seeds and instructions you’ll need to start your own salsa garden: tomato, onion, jalapeño and cilantro (salt and lime juice not included). Registration required for salsa kits; limit of one per household. Share photos of your finished salsa with the library to earn bragging rights. Prizes will be awarded for the best submissions! Sign up for your kit at bethlehem.librarycalendar.com.
Billing notices
We are changing how we share billing notices. Beginning April 1, the library will begin sending email notices for lost and damaged items from the BPL collection. These will replace the notices that currently go out through the postal service. These notices are sent our when items are overdue by 30 days , but if it is returned, there will be no fines or charges for it.
An app for that
Do you keep your smartphone with you at all times? Now you can have your library card with you, too! Search your app store to download the UHLS mobile app and manage your library account on the go. You can also add a Smart Pass with your card’s barcode to your digital wallet. Both are available in Android and Apple options. Download a Smart Pass at bethpl.org/download-a-digital-smart-pass.
