Teens with sewing experience can earn Community Service time by sewing up fleece hand warmers to fill with the included rice. Senior citizens can heat these in the microwave to warm cold hands, or use to soothe sore muscles. This project can be hand sewn, but works best with a sewing machine. Ask about borrowing one from our Library of Things. Return completed projects to the library for delivery to local seniors. Students in grades 7 and up should register online to receive further instructions. Pick up your supplies after 11am, Friday, January 22.
Craft & Chat
Grab your latest craft project, and join fellow crafters at 6:30pm on Tuesday, January 26, in a virtual chat, as we gather for casual conversation about what we are working on and anything else that strikes our fancy.

Creativity Lab: Artist Trading Cards
Artist Trading Cards are tiny collages – the size of a playing card! Pick up a surprise bag of art odds and ends after 11am, Friday, January 15. You can add pieces from your own stash, and make some mini artwork. Since they are trading cards, you’ll need to share them with friends, then they can get inspired too! For grades 6 and up, please register.
