Voorheesville Public Library Director Sarah Clark wrote:
Dear patrons, in the interest of public health, Voorheesville Public Library is suspending all programs and public meetings effective Friday, March 13, until further notice. We will make every effort to contact all patrons registered for events, and we will be sharing updates on our website and social media.
We are trying our best to follow the recommendations of social distancing during this challenging time.
We know this is disappointing news, and we will do everything we can to reschedule as many programs as possible. The library will remain open at this time. We understand that many of you are avoiding public places, and we would like to remind you all that e-books, audiobooks, magazines, and videos are available for free with your library card.
We also offer full access to the New York Times, among other information databases for free through our website.
Our Wi-Fi is available across much of our parking lot, and we are working quickly to improve the signal. We also offer a limited number of Wi-Fi hotspots for patrons who need internet access at home.
If you need assistance using any of our resources, or have any questions, please contact us.Everyone’s cooperation on this matter is very much appreciated.
Any further changes to library services will be detailed on our website and shared through as many communication channels as possible. Be well, Sarah.
