Stock Trading with Dr. Xushen Zhou
Saturday, Feb. 29
With over 1,600 percent return in the first eight months of 2019, Dr. Zhou made over 1,600 trades in equity, options, and cryptocurrencies, all in paper securities.
To show the foundations of such achievement, Dr. Zhou will cover the following topics: stock trading basics, investments fundamentals, technical analysis, investor behaviors, and the most recent developments in technology applications in stock trading.
A Ph.D. in finance and a former finance professor with five years of full-time university teaching experience and over 20 years of stock trading experience, Dr. Zhou was awarded a U.S. patent for learning via the sense of touch. Whether you are a novice or experienced trader, you can have a fun and fruitful face-to-face discussion with Dr. Zhou.

March Walks at Colonie Center
We will be meeting on Wednesday mornings in March — the 4, 11, 18, and 25 — to do inside walks at Colonie Center. We will meet at Entrance 5, to the left of the Christmas Tree Shop, and do a brisk walk in the mall. Meet new friends and get some exercise. Bring a bottle of water.
Registration is required for each individual session: online or call 810-0314. We walk at 9 a.m.
Saturday Chair Yoga
This Saturday morning chair yoga class — 7, 14, 21, and 28 — is a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or with the aid of a chair. This class is appropriate for everyone but particularly those with physical disabilities or injuries or aging men and women who find a typical yoga session too challenging. It is also a great form of yoga for beginners or anyone who wants to focus on a gentle practice.
Registration is required for each individual session: online or call 518-810-0314.
Walks are slated to start at 10 a.m.
Calling All Quilters
We would like to have a rotating quilt display in the library. Do you have a quilt that you would like to put on display? Dimensions must not exceed 55 inches in height or width and quilts must have a sleeve.
Please reach out to Peggy Mello, Adult Services Librarian, at 518-810-0311.
