A late-night talk show host’s world is turned upside down when she hires her first and only female staff writer. Originally intended to smooth over diversity concerns, her decision brings about unexpectedly hilarious consequences as the two women who are separated by culture and generation become united by their love of a biting punch line.

Beer and a Book Club Starts in 2020
Join us out and about for our newly created book group “A Beer and a Book.”
We are focusing on fun reads that make you laugh out loud. We will have a table reserved in various local pubs and restaurants in Colonie to eat, drink and laugh about the chosen book.
The January book will be “Running with Scissors” by Augusten Burroughs and the February book will be “Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea” by Chelsea Handler.
We will meet Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. at 110 Grill, 664 New Loudon Road, Latham and Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. at BJ’s Brewhouse, 3 Wolf Road Suite 101, Colonie. Registration is required: online or call 518-810-0314.
