Dear Editor:
I was happy to learn that all the members of the Bethlehem Town Board voted to give us more choices in how we receive our electricity. This will increase competition in the electricity marketplace and could lead to lower prices and cleaner electricity for everyone. Residents and small businesses throughout the town will benefit. We will no longer automatically be connected to foreign-owned National Grid as our electric supplier. We will no longer automatically be connected to National Grid’s polluting and expensive electricity. Thank you Supervisor VanLuven and all the town board members for voting to give us the freedom of more choices that will benefit our pocketbooks, and more importantly, benefit our future.
Sincerely,
Paul Tick,
Delmar
