Looking for a gift for someone special? Stop by and shop at the Second Annual Friends of the Library Winter Boutique on Saturday, Dec. 7. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 8 from 1 to 3 p.m.
The Friends of the Library (FOL) will have an array of winter-themed items to purchase as well as jewelry, fancy frames, purses/wallets and much more.
There will be a wide range of new and gently used items for purchase. Saturday, the FOL will also be having a bake sale.
All proceeds benefit the FOL which helps offset costs of events and special purchases for the Voorheesville Public Library.
Beading Workshop
On Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m., learn easy beading techniques for making simple necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. The library provides tools and offers a variety of beads to choose from, or you are welcome to bring your own supplies and projects along. Check out our beading books and magazines for inspiration. You may arrive at any time during the workshop that fits your schedule. Adults and teens ages 14 and up. Please register.

Paint mason jars
Students in grade seven through adult, please register for this fun, messy program. On Thursday, Dec. 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., you will learn how to decorate mason jars using a drip paint method. Make one for yourself or for a gift. All materials supplied.
