Author Talk
Saturday, Dec. 14, at 1 p.m.
Author John R. Teevan III will be discussing his new book, “America Invades Canada Again.” There will be a reading and a Q&A with the hope of inspiring aspiring writers.
“America Invades Canada Again” is a historical satire that analyzes the hypothetical situation of Quebec leaving Canada during the Quiet Revolution. Panic hits the streets in Montreal – and even more so in Ottawa. Ottawa calls London and London calls Washington, D.C. to ask for “military assistance.” A Canadian civil war looms, and President John F. Kennedy weighs the decision of a military intervention in Canada. Filled with satire and wit, any history lover will laugh until the very last page.
