Calling all teen and adult word masters! Assemble a team of fun-loving folks and join us Fri. Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m. for an Adult/Teen Spelling Bee. Full disclosure, this is not your average spelling bee — teams will go head-to-head playing various word games designed to keep everyone on their toes. Dungeons and Dragons intro
If you’re in grades 8-12 and have always wanted to learn how to play Dungeons and Dragons, here’s your chance! Plan to be here Sat. Oct. 5, 10:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. We’ll share pizza, make our own characters, and review the basics of game play. After completing this first adventure, sign up for the five-part series starting Sat. The Night Diary
We’re teaming up with Voorheesville Public Library on Sun. Oct. 6 at 1:30 p.m. to discuss the Newbery Honor-winning book for middle grade readers, The Night Diary. Author Veera Hiranandani will visit us via Skype to tell us more about her book, while we sample delicious Indian/Pakistani snacks. This program is for grades 5-8 with a caregiver, and takes place at Voorheesville Public Library. Please register and pick up a copy of the book at either library.

Toddler Movement & Development This class meets every Monday in October at 1:30 p.m., starting Oct. 7, to help strengthen movement patterns for toddlers through props, hands-on techniques, and play activities.
