The Bethlehem Lions Club once again had a very successful Christmas tree and wreath sale. This year’s sale was our 32nd and will provide funds for the many Lions projects which support the community. These projects include scholarships for graduating seniors, the purchase of eyeglasses and hearing aids for those in need, The File of Life, cooperating projects with Bethlehem Senior Services, sponsorship of a Little League team, and support of other community organizations.
The sale is successful each year due to our many loyal customers and organizations which provide special support. Our thanks to: 3D Rigging and Construction, who provide the sale site on Route 9W each year; the Town of Bethlehem Highway Department for providing fencing; our Towne Bethlehem magazine for advertising; and Young Landscapes for providing wooden pallets used for tree stands. Special thanks to the employees of 3D Rigging and Construction who unloaded the trees on a snowy November morning.
Our sincere appreciation and thanks to everyone who continues to support this annual event.
