Celebrate “Take Your Child to the Library Day,” Saturday, Feb. 2, in a very special way with world renowned professional actress/ventriloquist and comedian, Sylvia Fletcher, who will dazzle you with her amazing talent. Second Annual Winter Film Festival
Dennis Sullivan will be our host for the 2nd Annual Winter Film Festival. This year, Dennis has chosen directors/films that focus on life, death, dance, and subversion. Mark your calendars for Director Federico Fellini, January 30; and Director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, February 13. All programs will start at 6 p.m., with discussion and insights. Light refreshments will be served. Check the library calendar or call for film title. No registration needed.
Nimblefingers Open House
Join the Nimblefingers at their Open House at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, for an afternoon of demonstrations, refreshments and friendship. View antique quilts during a bed-turning and vote for your favorite entry in the design challenge. Throughout the month, visitors to the Library can enjoy the Nimblefingers exhibit of distinctive handcrafts and quilts in our Community Room. Since programs are also held in the Community Room, check the calendar to plan your visit.

Snow Delays
If the Voorheesville Schools are delayed by two hours due to weather, all morning youth programs will be cancelled. If school is cancelled, all youth programs for the day are cancelled. Call to check on adult afternoon or evening programs.
