Dennis Sullivan will be our host for the Second Annual Winter Film Festival. This year, Dennis has chosen four directors/films that focus on life, death, dance, and subversion. Mark your calendars for Director Michael Haneke, January 23; Federico Fellini, January 30; and Director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, February 13. All programs will start at 6 p.m., with discussion and insights. Light refreshments will be served. Check the library calendar or call for film title. No registration needed.

Sylvia Fletcher, Ventriloquist

Celebrate “Take Your Child to the Library Day”, Saturday, Feb.  2, in a very special way with world renowned professional Actress/Ventriloquist and Comedian, Sylvia Fletcher, who will dazzle you with her amazing talent. Sylvia’s performance will leave you laughing in pure amazement at her incredible talent. Join us from 2 to 3 p.m. This show is nothing short of “Ventastic”! No registration required.

Registering for programs helps us to determine supply needs. Unless otherwise indicated, registration is requested for all programs. You can register in person, by phone (518-765-2791) or using our online calendar at http://voorheesvillelibrary.org/calendar.asp.

Snow Delays: If the Voorheesville Schools are delayed by two hours due to weather, all morning youth programs will be cancelled. If school is cancelled, all youth programs for the day are cancelled. Call to check on adult afternoon or evening programs.
