#VoorheesvillePublicLibrary #SpotlightNews
Join us on our newest foodie journey. Every other month, we will talk and taste our way through ethnic foods, specialty methods and cuisines, and just plain good cooking. Read the latest choice, try out the recipes, and bring a dish for everyone to sample on discussion night. Experienced foodies and newbies are welcome. A limited number of books are available to purchase for $5 or you can check out a library copy. Our January cookbook choice is “The Smitten Kitchen Every Day” by Deb Perelman. Join us at 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 24, and don’t forget your sample dish. Please register.
Teen Care for Shelter Animals
Spend your Friday afternoon off making some easy projects to comfort and amuse shelter animals. From noon to 2:30 p.m., January 25, we’ll order pizza for lunch, or you can bring your own. Participants earn two and a half hours of Community Service time. Grade 7 and up, please register.
Snow Delays
If Voorheesville Schools are delayed two hours due to weather, morning youth programs will be cancelled. If school is cancelled, all youth programs for the day are cancelled. Call to check on adult afternoon or evening programs.
Registering for programs helps us to determine supply needs. Unless otherwise indicated, registration is requested for all programs. You can register in person, by phone (518-765-2791) or using our online calendar at http://voorheesvillelibrary.org/calendar.asp.
