Comic mime Robert Rivest entertains audiences of all ages while motivating them to read, celebrate their libraries and move to the music of nature, animals and life all around us.
Join us at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 8 where everyone will learn cool mime movements, awesome laughter exercises and calming mindfulness activities ending with an interactive mime “poem” about the joys of reading, books and libraries. All ages welcome.

Songwriting for Teens
Do you listen to music? Then you can write a song. No matter what experience level, songwriting is a fun way to share stories, feelings, and change the world around you. In this Monday, Aug. 13 workshop you will learn the basics of songwriting by creating a group song, then break into pairs or solo work to find your own voice.
Class runs from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and is open to students entering grade 7 and up.

Upcycling Crafts
On Thursday, Aug. 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., you can learn how to make a reusable grocery bag out of an old t-shirt (no sewing required). We will also have other upcycle projects and ideas. Come for the bag, stay for the fun. Please bring your own t-shirt. Ages 7+, please register.
