#VoorheesvillePublicLibrary #TheSpot518
We will be going hog wild at the library on Monday, July 30! Join our friend, Farmer Minor, his beloved pig, Daisy, and their pug pals to hear about life on the farm and about Daisy’s travels. Pucker up and get ready to give Daisy a BIG SMOOCH or just a friendly pat! Pigs and pugs love to share the joy of reading! The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. All ages welcome. No registration required.
LEGO Jr. Maker Event
Children entering grades K through 3, and a parent/caregiver are invited to join us at 1:30 p.m., on Friday, July 27, to put some bricks together and build! Get inspired by reading about building and creativity, then make whatever you’d like. This creative program will foster problem-solving skills and encourage storytelling. Please register.
Maker Faire
Interested in seeing what local folks are making? Visit the Maker Faire from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28! Exhibitors include Handmade by Aly Parrott, among other artists and creative minds. The Emack & Bolio’s Ice Cream Truck will visit to make everyone happy! Our Maker Week students will show off their projects, and teach you how to make something. Open to all, school-age to adult; no registration necessary.
