What are you listening to these days?
Anything good. I recently met The Bouncing Souls and got to dance on stage with George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, both awesome shows at Upstate. When I listen to music at home alone, I tend to go for cheesier, mellower stuff-Ingrid Michaelson, The Lumineers and Owl City all make me happy. But, so does my Hot Chip Pandora radio station. And, Drum & Bass.
Reading?
I just finished “Narcissus and Goldmund,” by Hermann Hesse and “Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates,” by Tom Robbins. Currently reading “Don Quixote,” by Miguel de Cervantes. Next up is “The Handmaid’s Tale,” by Margaret Atwood. I’m also reading a book on Buddhism and meandering through “O Albany,” by William Kennedy. My Goodreads wish list just keeps getting longer and longer . . .
Watching on TV?
Currently? “Gotham.” But I’ve just finished the first season and can’t find the first five episodes of season two, so now I’m stuck.
What was the last movie you saw?
“People Places Things,” with Gemaine Clement from Flight of the Conchords. I just love him.
One person living or dead you would like to meet and why?
Kurt Vonnegut or Joseph Campbell. Maybe Max Planck. Because they know things.
Describe your dream vacation.
At least a month wandering Europe, ending with a week in Ibiza.
What is your favorite hobby?
Reading, dancing and eating.
Describe what your last meal would be.
It would be yummy. And, involve mimosas. And, last forever.
