What kind of music do you listen to?
I listen to all kinds of music, but primarily I’m a country music kind of guy. I grew up on country music in my house, so I still listen to it today.
What are some of your favorite TV shows?
We tape a lot of our shows. I like “NCIS,” “Criminal Minds,” the “Law and Order” series, “Chicago PD” and “Chicago Fire” – a lot of criminal shows.
What type of books do you read?
I love reading autobiographies of people who have been successful – a lot of coaches: Tom Landry, Bobby Bowden and Lou Holtz. I like to read about what they did to become successful coaches.
What was the last movie you saw?
Probably” Jurassic World” and “Inside Out.” We took our kids to see them.
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
I like to golf, I like to ski in the winter. I like to be outside in the fresh air.
What is your dream vacation spot?
I’ve been to Hawaii, but I’d like to see some of the other islands of Hawaii. I haven’t seen the Grand Canyon out in the western states.
Who is one person, dead or alive, you would like to meet, and why?
I guess I would say Tom Landry. I was a big Cowboy fan growing up, and I still am. I’d like to meet him and ask him the secrets to his success.
What is your favorite local memory?
I guess my favorite local memory was back in 1996 when we beat Brewster at Dietz Stadium to get to the Carrier Dome (RCS football)
What would you bring to a deserted island?
My wife and my kids would be No. 1. If I could be with just my wife and my kids, that would keep me happy.
What would your last meal be?
It would definitely be steak and potatoes.
