What type of music do you listen to?
Country music. I’m from Stillwater. It’s a small, country-like town, and I like my country music.
What are you watching on TV?
I watch “Parenthood.” I watch ESPN, and I watch “Gas Monkey Garage.”
What was the last book you read?
“Seven Habits of a Successful Family.” I like learning. When I read, I like to learn.
What was the last movie you saw?
“The Internship.” I love comedies.
What is one of your hobbies?
Flying model airplanes. I started when I was probably 15 years old. I just like the challenge.
Who is the one person (dead or alive) you would like to meet?
I’d like to meet Joe Namath. I love his confidence.
What would your dream vacation be?
Hawaii. I want to learn how to surf.
What would your last meal be?
My mother’s pasta. You don’t mess with that. That was it.
What three things would you want on a deserted island?
A TV, a microwave and a cow.
What was your favorite local moment?
The Travers in Saratoga Springs. Any of them. I live right there.
If you were the NBA commissioner for one day, what rule would you make?
I would eliminate sleeves … actually, I would eliminate all extra clothing except for the original game-day outfit. Even my guys are wearing those things now.
What is a surprising fact about you?
My wife is a better athlete than I am. When she was in high school, she was voted the best athlete in her class.
