Brent Meredith
Town of Bethlehem Highway Superintendent
• Residence: Bethlehem
What are you listening to?
I just downloaded the new U2 album, and I really enjoyed it. I haven’t liked the last few albums, and this is getting back to the style I like.
What are you watching on TV?
“The League.” I was asked to be in a fantasy league for the first time, so it was sort of research.
What was the last movie you saw?
I think it was the last Hobbit movie.
What is your dream vacation?
I would want to go back to Paris.
What is your favorite hobby?
I’m not sure I have time for hobbies. I would probably do more woodworking. I always enjoyed it, but haven’t had the time.
What would your last meal be?
I would say lobster and steak, mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans.
What is the one person, dead or alive, you would most like to meet?
My dad’s father, my grandfather. He died when I was really young, and I think it would be nice to get his perspective on his life and how our family got where they are.
What three things would you take with you if abandoned on an island?
A comfy, leather chair, a grill, and multi-tool (like a Swiss army knife).
What is your favorite local moment?
I would say the Memorial Day parade. I’ve marched as a fireman, a coach, a parent and now highway superintendent, but it’s a great community event I always enjoy.
