Most of the time, I listen to audio books when driving, and strangely enough at present I am listening to one of my favorites, “The Scarlet Letter,” in preparation for a book discussion.
What have you been reading?
“Songs of Willow Frost” by Jamie Ford. For my book discussion for the kids, I read “No Dogs Allowed!”
What’s the best book you’ve read this year?
“We Were Liars,” by E. Lockhart, which is a young adult novel. That is one that really spoke to me the most this year.
What is your favorite TV show?
I love “Downton Abbey” and “Call the Midwife,” because they are historical and you learn a lot. I really like the character development in the stories.
What would your dream vacation be?
I’ve been to Ireland, but either going to Ireland, Scotland or Wales or the countryside of England. My background is Irish and … I love the beauty of Ireland.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to read, cook, and spend time with family. I also like fitness and exercise; I do a variety of things from cardiovascular to weight training and palates.
What would your last meal be?
Eggplant parmesan … it is just so good. I love it.
Who is the one person, dead or alive, you would most like to meet?
Jesus.
What is your favorite local moment?
My kids being in school … the Voorheesville Central School District is just a superlative school district.
