What are you listening to these days?
I like a little bit of everything. On my iTunes account, I probably have a lot of ’80s hard rock and heavy metal.
What have you been reading?
I read a lot of books about leadership and sustainable leadership. I also read a lot of trade magazines. With all of my kids’ school activities, I don’t have a lot of time to read during the school year. During the summertime, that’s when I do a lot of reading.
What have you been watching on TV?
I watch a ton of sports, but I like “Homeland.” “Breaking Bad” was a series I loved. I watch a show on Discovery called “Dual Survival.” But right now, I’m watching a lot of playoff hockey.
What was the last movie you saw?
I took all three of my kids and watched … “Frozen.” That’s where I am right now. It’s not about me — it’s about the kids.
What would your dream vacation be?
My kids, my wife and I have been talking about going to Hawaii.
What are some of your hobbies?
Obviously, my biggest hobby is my kids and my family, but I like to do things around the house. I like to clean the pool and mow the lawn … stuff I can put the music on and think about stuff that’s not important. I also like to do projects around the house.
What would your last meal be?
A lobster/seafood dinner would be my last meal.
Who would you most like to meet, dead or alive?
Growing up, I was a huge Reggie White fan. I thought he stood for more than just being a football player.
What is your favorite local memory?
When the Pepsi Arena (now Times Union Center) hosted the 2002 NCAA Wrestling Tournament. For me as a wrestling fan, it was like the World Series.
What is something about you that would surprise people to learn?
That I’m actually fairly sensitive.
