Q: Why did you decide it was time to downsize?
The yard work got to be too much, as did shoveling the snow. Emotionally, it was hard to go into certain rooms because the memories were just too much.
Q: How long did it take you to find your new place at Hudson Preserve Apartments?
I planned the move for over a year, checking out many apartments and senior living facilities with my sister-in-law.
Q: Did you have a plan in place for the actual move?
I assumed I would start packing and hire a moving company to execute the move. Then a co-worker told me about Organize Senior Moves. I had a no idea a company like this existed.

Q: Did anything surprise you about OSM?
I was surprised how everything was placed in as close to the same spot in my new apartment as it was in my house. It was the coolest thing.
Q: How was your Project Manager and team of workers?
They were very helpful. They have such a good rhythm and routine. Nothing was broken. It also helped that they handled all of my husband’s clothing donations to the Albany City Mission.
