Four people are facing felony charges after Colonie police received a call of four shots fired on Arcadia Court.
Colonie police received the call around 9:20 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, and were informed the shooter fled the scene in a gray Honda CRV with Pennsylvania license plates. A witness was also following the car eastbound on Central Avenue.
Colonie and Albany police officers found the car and stopped it near the intersection of Central and Colvin avenues. All four occupants of the car were arrested without incident. Police allegedly found a .38 revolver in side the car that had one live round and four expended rounds in it.
Terrence G. Rawlinson, of 1004 Elm St. Apt. A in Easton, Pa., allegedly fired four shots during a dispute with a resident of 60 Arcadia Court. Three bullets hit the home, with two in the front siding and entering the house through an open front door. Police said the fourth bullet, as of last week, had not been recovered.
The three other car occupants were also from Easton, Pa., which included Laura Rose M. Bariso, of 15 North 2nd St. Apt. 1F; Ibin H. Gordon, of 15 North 2nd St.; and Rodney Etienne, of 1111 Leigh St. Apt. B.
All four were charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a felony.
Rawlinson was also charged with criminal use of a firearm in the second degree, assault in the first degree, five counts of reckless endangerment in the first degree, all felonies, and two counts of engendering the welfare of a child in the second degree, a misdemeanor.
All four were remanded without bail to the Albany County Correctional Facility.
Police said two children and their mother were inside the house when the bullets were fired. The alleged intended victim, his cousin and brother, were outside when the bullets were fired, according to police. No one was struck and no injuries were reported.
The victim and the shooter knew each other, according to police, and the incident stemmed from an on-going dispute. Police were still investigating the exact nature of the dispute and their relationship.
