Guilderland police around 2:20 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, approached a vehicle parked in the middle of Route 155 and allegedly found the driver and passenger to be in possession of heroin.
Jermaine Staley, 31, of 16 Almond St. in Gloversville, was found to have an active warrant out of the City of Schenectady. Further investigation led police charge the driver, Ashleigh Foster-Morrison, 28, of the same address, with driving while ability impaired by drugs.
Staley and Foster-Morrison each allegedly had heroin in their possession, which totaled 99 individual packets that were packaged for distribution, according to police.
The pair were each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a felony. Foster-Morrison was also charged with DWAI, unlawful possession of marijuana and three traffic infractions.
