A Ravena man has been arrested on drug possession charges following a three-month investigation and a sealed indictment presented by the Albany County Grand Jury.
Town of Coeymans Police arrested Dylan Vega, 20, of Ravena, on Aug. 15. Police said the investigation found Vega was allegedly selling “quantities” of heroin, marijuana, ecstasy, mushrooms, and prescription drugs in the Town of Coeymans and Village of Ravena. The sealed indictment was for criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell.
At the time of his arrest, Vega was additionally charged with allegedly possessing 10 bags of heroin and was said to be in the process of attempting to deliver the drugs to an unknown person in the Village of Ravena. Vega was then arraigned before the Village of Ravena Court and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility without bail.
Vega was returned to the Albany County Court on Aug. 21 and arraigned on two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the second degree. He was again remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility without bail.
