State Police arrested two people on their way to the Camp Bisco music festival in Mariaville on drug charges last night.
At about 11 p.m. troopers stopped a 2007 Audi for driving 87 mph on the Thruway in the Town of Bethlehem. After smelling marijuana coming from the vehicle, police searched the car and allegedly found in the driver’s side door compartment a glass vile containing 36 milligrams of PCP, four plastic containers holding 0.1 grams of cannabis oil each, two electronic cigarettes containing cannabis oil and a small amount of bath salts.
Two of the car’s passengers were arrested: Kiki M. Ferguson, 23, of Cos Cob, Conn. and Luis E. Duboy-Astorga, 23, of Riverside, Conn. Ferguson was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third and seventh degrees. Duboy-Astorga was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
The driver was not charged.
Both were arraigned in the Town of Bethlehem Court and remanded to Albany County jail.
