A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Rotterdam resident on charges of possessing crack cocaine.
State Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Friday, June 8, at approximately 4:03 p.m., on the Thruway in the Town of Canajoharie. The driver, Jeremy W. Hill, 35, was allegedly found to be in possession of 5.9 grams of crack cocaine, hydrocodone pills and a “small quantity” of marijuana, according to police reports.
Hill was arrested and he was charged with criminal possession of controlled substance in the fourth degree, a felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Hill was arraigned in the Town of Canajoharie and remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility with no bail pending further court action.
