A stop on the New York State Thruway for a traffic violation led to drug charges for a downstate man.
State Police stopped Jessie D. Dabbs, 45, of Peekskill around noon on Dec. 14 on the Thruway in the Town of Bethlehem.
A trooper observed that the inspection sticker on the car driven by Dabbs was forged. Police said a further investigation revealed Dabbs was in possession of 32 grams of cocaine.
Dabbs was arraigned in Town of Bethlehem court and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility on $15,000 cash bail.
