The State Police Aviation Unit, located at the Albany County Airport, recently observed several areas in Schenectady County where marijuana was being grown. On Tuesday, Aug. 9, State Police seized 359 marihuana plants at several locations in the Town of Duanesburg and Rotterdam.
Troopers, assisted by the State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and under the direction of the aviation unit, hiked into the remote areas and seized the mature plants.
No arrests were made, according to police, but the investigation is continuing.
