NEW SCOTLAND – New Scotland Physical Therapy is on the move, but is staying close to its roots.
After eight years at Stonewall Plaza, the physical therapy practice is now located at 1944B New Scotland Road – between Stewart’s and New Scotland Auto Center, not far from the intersection of routes 85 and 85A.
“It was an exciting opportunity for us to stay close to the location where we have grown and thrived, while providing an improved space with better accessibility for our patients,” said New Scotland Physical Therapy owner and physical therapist Mollie Dambrocia.
Dambrocia said the new space is designed to allow her practice to expand into offering wellness related services and classes.
“We are honestly thrilled and look forward to continuing to provide high quality care in an even more improved space,” said Dambrocia.
Though the practice is expanding its services, it remains focused on serving the communities of Voorheesville, New Scotland and Bethlehem. It will also continue to provide athletic training services to Voorheesville High School athletes.
“We love serving this community,” said Dambrocia. “So many of our patients have honestly become like extensions of our own family. It was important to me to stay close to the community we serve, while providing an improved space.”
New Scotland Physical Therapy offers a wide modality of treatments to fit a patient’s needs – from manual manipulation to exercises that can be done at home. New patients will receive a thorough evaluation from one of the physical therapists at the first session. From there, sessions vary from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the patient’s needs.
New Scotland Physical Therapy is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; and 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fridays. The practice accepts most health insurance plans. For more information, call 518-621-4500 or visit newscotlandpt.com.
