LATHAM Upstate Veterinary Specialties began operating at its new $5.2 million, 23,000-square-foot location at 152 Sparrowbush Road in Latham, after a ribbon-cutting ceremony held Wednesday, Dec. 15. Colonie Town Supervisor Paula Mahan and State Assemblyman Phil Steck were among those holding the green ribbon cut by Dr. Aaron Wey at 2 p.m. Doors officially opened to patients the next morning on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
The new space will be home to the most comprehensive veterinary care available within a two-hour radius of the Capital Region, with an expanded staff that includes doctors specializing in oncology, ophthalmology, neurology, dermatology and other fields.
