Campers will learn how to lead, ride, groom, tack and bathe a horse. We teach horse equipment, horse behavior and safety around horses. We go hiking in the woods and look for deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, pick and eat wild blackberries. We have a life size horse statue for practicing saddling and bridling and mounting a horse. Campers bring drinks, snacks for mid-morning and afternoon as well as lunch.
