SELKIRK – On Thursday, Oct. 5, Bethlehem police arrested Ramona L. Orr, 42, of Selkirk, on gun charges that originated from a Child Protective Services Report.
On Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 3:30 p.m., Albany County Child Protective Services contacted police to assist them with checking the welfare of a child at a residence in Selkirk. The report to Child Protective Services alleged that there were numerous firearms in the residence.
Officers assisted in the investigation and did locate several unregistered and illegal firearms within the residence.

Orr has was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon and four counts of criminal possession of a firearm, both felonies, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Police seized two non-compliant/unregistered AR-15 rifles, four unregistered handguns and multiple non-compliant large capacity AR-15 magazines after the investigation.
Orr was arraigned in Town of Bethlehem Court and released on a $5,000 bail bond. She is scheduled back in Bethlehem town court on November 8.
