RAVENA – Albany County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 27-year-old Ravena man on charges relating to forcibly touching minors.
On Sunday, Aug 28, at approximately 4:44 p.m., deputies took several reports of sexual assault involving an adult male and minor females at the Mosher Park Pool in Ravena. The minor victims, whose ages range from 11-years-old to 15-years-old, all reported that over four days, Austin S. Williams touched their intimate and private body parts, both over and under their bathing suits in the pool with no permission or right to do so. Parents of the children reported the incidents to deputies and met with Sheriff’s Investigators regarding the matter.
On Monday, Aug 29, Williams was arrested and charged with four counts of forcible touching and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors.
He was arraigned in the Town of Coeymans Court the same day and released to the supervision of probation.
Williams was ordered to stay away from The Mosher Park Pool and orders of protection were issued for the victims. If there are any other victims of Williams, please contact the Albany County Sheriff’s Department at (518) 765-5980.
