Rescue Pet Contest
Megan Viscio, local artist and teacher, will be selecting winners, whose pets will be made into mini-sculptures and featured in her art show. To enter the contest, provide a short write-up about your rescue pet or rescue experience along with several photographs from which Megan will work. The winners will get to keep the mini-sculptures after the show. If interested or if you need more information, contact Megan at [email protected] or Gail Brown at [email protected]. Because the library is presently closed, the art show may become virtual or it will wait until the library can safely open. Visit Megan’s art work at thestudiohouse.blog.
Library Book Discussions
Library book discussions are going digital! Adult readers should join the Voorpl Book Group on Facebook. There we will host various formal book discussions and informal chatter about book-related topics. Request to join this closed group and get accepted by VPL to get the private links to the discussion meetings.
