COLONIE — Police recovered an illegal, loaded handgun on Saturday, April 4 at the Only Way Out Studios on 728 Loudon Road.
According to Lt. Robert Winn, a search warrant was executed at 2:28 a.m. at the recording studio after an investigation in conjunction with the New York State Parole Department, the FBI and Troy Police Department.
Seven people were found in the studio and Reginald Pass, 25, of Brooklyn was arrested for allegedly possessing a .357 Amadeo Rossi .357 magnum handgun loaded with six rounds and a defaced serial number.
The origins of the handgun are still being investigated. This is the sixth illegal handgun confiscated by Colonie police since Feb. 22.
The others were interviewed and released without charges.
Pass was arraigned in Colonie Justice Court on two felonies of criminal possession of a weapon. He was sent to the Albany County jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 secured bond or $100,000 unsecured bond.
