COLONIE — The Crossings is closed to vehicular traffic at Friday, March 27 at 8 p.m.

“This closure is an effort to keep large groups of people gathering in one place along with the mandates of reducing our workforce,” said a statement. “We encourage everyone to get outside and walk around their neighborhood where it easier to keep social distancing without a large number of vehicles and people being side by side.”
Last weekend, the parking lot at the town-owned park was packed with cars and there were scores of people milling about.
The playground and the bathroom were already closed to public use.
