BETHLEHEM — On senior night, the last home meet of the season, Saratoga edged the Eagles buy a team score of 165.6 to 161.75.
Ava Dallas, of Saratoga, won the all-around with a combined score of 37 while her teammate Sophia Damiano places second with 35.25 and Bethlehem’s Alison Gray came in third with a combined score of 33.15.
Dallas won the vault, the uneven bars, balance beam and the floor and Damiano placed second in all four events. Gray came in third in the vault and beam, while Bethlehem’s Chloe Kosoc placed third in the uneven bars and Carly Ruschack placed third in the floor.
All four gymnastics teams — Bethlehem, Saratoga, Guilderland and Shaker — will square off at Shaker High School on Wednesday, Feb. 12 for sectionals.
(As a side note, no other athletic team in Section II has more fun than Bethlehem gymnasts.)
