A 38-year-old Albany man faces a host of charges after getting pulled over while riding a moped without a license plate on Wolf Road on Monday, Aug. 26.
According to reports, when officers pulled over Jerry Cooley at around 3:26 p.m., they discovered the moped was not registered, not inspected and not insured.
A check of his non-driver ID found his ID was suspended nine times.
He was also allegedly found in possession of ecstasy pills and suboxone.
He is charged with the felony of criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, the misdemeanors of criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle as well as being ticketed for the infractions of operating a motor vehicle without an inspection sticker, operating an unregistered motor vehicle on the highway and operating a motor vehicle without an inspection.
He was arraigned in Colonie Town Court.
