ALBANY COUNTY — A Voorheesville woman was arrested on a hindering prosecution charge after she revealed to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office that she assisted a man on the run.

Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Mae C. Boyer, 67, after learning that she supplied money via Western Union transactions from local Price Chopper stores to 57-year-old Patrick M. Walsh. Such funds were intended for Walsh to purchase food and for transportation.
Walsh has been on the run since December 2018 and is wanted in Albany County for several grand larceny charges and two counts of scheme to defraud. He is also wanted by the Town of New Scotland for another grand larceny charge.
Boyer was released on an appearance ticket to appear at the Bethlehem Town Court in the near future.
Anyone with information of Walsh’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Albany County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit at 518-756-2351 or the Albany County Sheriff’s Office Confidential Tip Line at 518-720-8075.
