A DJ who worked across the Capital District was arrested by State Police and charged with sexually abusing several children who were between 8 and 14 years old.
Brian O. Angelo, who is works under the moniker “DJ IROC” is charged with a host of felonies including: one count of sexual misconduct against a child, three counts of criminal sex act and four counts of sexual abuse. He is also charged with the following misdemeanors: four counts of forcible touching and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Angelo, a 49-year-old from Clifton Park, was arrested by troopers working out of the Brunswick barracks. He was arraigned by Rensselaer County Judge Debra Young and remanded to the Rensselaer County jail without bail.
In addition to the State Police in Brunswick, the case was investigated by troopers in Latham as well as the Colonie Police Department, the Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office and the START Children’s Center in Rensselaer County.
