SCHENECTADY — Start the New Year in style at Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady, where Rush Rewards members will have a chance to win thousands in Free Slot Play, as well as up to 12 GMC Terrains during the $395K Win or Luge promotion.
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of Jan., three guests will be selected per night to compete in a Rivers “luge” race for a chance to win the grand prize of a 2019 GMC Terrain AWD SLE. Guests that reach the end of the race first will have a choice to make – take the finish line prize of $2,000 Free Slot Play, or risk it all to spin the prize wheel for a chance to win the GMC Terrain.
Rush Rewards members will receive one $395K Win or Luge entry for every 20 points earned on slots, video poker and table games throughout the month, with double entries on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until Jan. 23. Entry activation is from 4 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., and drawings will take place at 8 p.m. on each drawing day.

Putt Putt Payout – Every Thursday and Friday in Jan. at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., two guests per hour will win $100 Match Play and the chance to play a putting game to win up to $2,500 cash. Rush Rewards guests will receive one Putt Putt Payout entry for every 10 points earned on table games throughout the month of Jan., excluding the Poker Room. Entry activation is from 7 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Drawing winners can put up to 3 holes of golf for increasing cash prizes, and, at each hole they win, they can decide if they want to keep their winnings OR risk it to putt the next hole. Players who putt all 3 holes successfully will walk away with $2,500 cash, plus $100 Match Play.
Pro League Pick N’ Win Grand Prize – On Monday, Jan. 7, at 1 p.m. the top 100 scorers who participated in all 17 season weeks of the Pro League Pick N’ Win promotion, will be revealed. The guest with the highest overall season score will win a 2019 Mercedes Benz CLA250C4. Guests will be able to see if they are a winner by going to the Rivers Casino website (riverscasinoandresort.com/pickwin). The grand prize winner will also be announced on the casino floor at 1 p.m. Guests will have until Jan. 31, at 11:59 p.m. to claim their end of season prizes.
New Rush Rewards – Throughout Jan., every new Rush Rewards member, upon sign-up, will be able to choose between an instant prize of $10 Free Slot Play OR risking that instant prize to roll a pair of dice for their chance to win up to $250 Free Slot Play. All new Rush Rewards members will also receive an instant $10 Match Play coupon.
Friends with Benefits – Throughout Jan., current Rush Rewards members who bring in a friend to join the rewards program will receive $10 in Free Slot Play instantly. Limit of 1 redemption per month.

Food and Beverage
Dukes Sip & Savor Series – Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., guests will be able to enjoy a very special Sip & Savor wine tasting and five-course dinner at Dukes Chophouse. The prix fixe menu will include a beet and goat cheese terrine; scallop and bacon appetizer; a curry pear and parsnip bisque; an entrée selection of tuna wellington or veal osso bucco; and a white chocolate souffle dessert. All courses served with wine pairings selected by a guest sommelier. Dinner is $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Seating is limited. Reservations are required and can be made through the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Call Center at (518) 579-8811. Guests must be 21 years of age or older.
Seasonal Drinks at Villa Italia – A special seasonal beverage menu will be available for guests until February 2, 2019 at Rivers Casino & Resort’s Villa Italia location. Offerings include classic hot cocoa; peppermint hot cocoa; Mexican hot chocolate (made with chocolate syrup, cinnamon, and a pinch of chili powder); and egg nog. All seasonal beverages are available in both traditional or “naughty” versions (with alcohol).
Events and Entertainment
December ’63 Tribute Dinner Show – Oh, what a night! On Wednesday, Jan. 9, guests at the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Event Center will thrill to the music that defined an entire generation with The Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons tribute band, December ’63, while enjoying a delicious three-course meal. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and entertainment begins at 7:00 p.m. Dinner will be served during the show and includes fresh baked bread; a mozzarella and tomato salad with roasted red peppers; made-to-order pasta with sautéed broccoli rabe and a choice of shrimp or chicken diablo; and a cherries jubilee cheesecake. Coffee, tea and soft drinks will also be served. Tickets are $30 and available for purchase online at riverscasinoandresort.com, tickets.proctors.org, or through the Proctors Theater Box Office.
Keith Sweat – Sunday, Jan. 20, American Music Award winner and legendary R&B singer, Keith Sweat, will bring his chart-topping hits to the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Event Center. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $40 and are available at riverscasinoandresort.com, tickets.proctors.org and the Proctors Theater Box Office.
There is no cost to join Rush Rewards, and members earn points for their slot play and table game play by inserting their card into the slot machine or presenting it to table games dealers before starting the game.
