COLONIE — Shaker had a rough second half and lost a Suburban Council matchup to Niskayuna 66-52 on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
The Bison (0-3, 1-4) led at the half 31-30 but were outscored 15-9 in the third and 21-21 in the fourth.
Shaker was led by Connor McHugh with 17, including three threes. Christian Germaine had nine, Jake Nelson and Joseph Mariano had six while Sean Seymour chipped in five points. Ravion Burt had four, Joseph Mirabile had three and Anthony Clayton had two to round out the scoring for Shaker.
Nick Benton, Sean St. Lucia and Richie Quinn each had 15 for 2-1, 4-1 Niskayuna while Ethan St. Lucia had 14. Benton had 11 points in the fourth quarter.
On Friday, Dec. 14, Shaker will host Schenectady and Nisky will play at Ballston Spa.
