The Niko DiNovo Second Annual Charity Flag Football Tournament will be held on Aug. 19 at Schenectady High School from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The five-on-five tournament has four categories: men, coed, youth and lineman.

In addition to flag football contests all day, there will be a bounce house, face painting, photo booth and concession.

The cost is $20 per player for a first team and $15 per player for a second. There is a $40 deposit required to register a team. At least two games are guaranteed.

There is a $5 admission for those not playing flag football.

The tournament is held to benefit a foundation in the name of Niko DiNovo, the Colonie teen who died on March 19, 508 days after getting badly burned in a horrific car accident.

Anyone who wants to play or sponsor a team can call 518-588-2102 or email [email protected].
