COLONIE – The ribbon was cut on Tuesday, March 6, at the Roessleville Elementary School’s new library.
Construction on the modernistic looking library was done over the summer of 2017 and moving day was earlier this year. It was part of Phase I and II of a district-wide, $16 million construction project that continues today with Phases III and IV.
“Instead of going off the end, they knocked off some space that wasn’t being used and it really re-defines the building,” said South Colonie School District Superintendent Jonathan Buhner prior to the official ribbon cutting by Board of Education President Ed Sim.
