COLONIE – A 55-year-old employee of the Albany County Nursing Home is under arrest for threatening to shoot his co-workers.

According to Sheriff Craig D. Apple, on Thursday, Feb. 15, George Perment III told his co-workers: “I will get my gun and start with (the employees names) and whoever else will be next.”

He was arrested at the Nursing home on Albany Shaker Road and charged with the felony of making a terroristic threat.

Perment was arraigned in Colonie Town Court by Judge Norman Massry and remanded to the Albany County jail on $20,000 cash or $30,000 bond.

Orders of protection were issued for the two employees.
