GUILDERLAND – After getting pulled over for a traffic stop, a town man is under arrest for having more than a pound of pot in his possession.
According to the State Police, troopers pulled over Masood Sharifipour on Route 155 and detected an odor of marijuana.
They found the pound-plus stash after searching his vehicle and arrested him on the felonies of criminal possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was arraigned in Guilderland Town Court and remanded to the Albany County jail on $25,000 bail.
