ALBANY — The Albany County District Attorney’s Office Animal Cruelty Task Force (ACT) presents a vaccination and microchip clinic for dogs and cats Saturday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Community Justice Outreach Center, 155 Clinton Ave.
Dr. Patricia Rockstroh, Mohawk Hudson Humane Society’s vice president of veterinary services, will perform the vaccinations and microchip implants. Please bring proof of prior rabies vaccinations, if available. All cats must be in carriers, and all dogs must be leashed.
The first 100 pets will receive a free rabies vaccination. After that, rabies vaccinations are $10 per pet, as are distemper vaccinations and microchipping.
