ALBANY — The Fear of Strangers reunion show scheduled for Thursday, June 30 at The Hollow Bar + Kitchen in Albany has been postponed.
The group made the announcement on its Facebook event page over the weekend.
Fear of Strangers was a quartet consisting of Val Haynes, Todd Nelson at guitar, Al Kash at drums and Steve Cohen as bassist. They had formed as the Units, until a band out of San Francisco started a trademark dispute. Signing with Faulty Records at around the same time R.E.M. signed with its subsidiary, I.R.S. Records.
Haynes was interviewed for a feature that appeared in the June 22 edition of TheSpot518.
